artifacts

I'm still intrigued by this subject matter. Chairs are artifacts that have a story to tell about the past, present or future. While they are works of art that have been created to serve a purpose, they also can have, character, charm, charisma ... a sense of mystery about the people who have sat in them.

I've been having fun playing with colour, line and gobs of paint to enhance the feeling I have about these lovely, regal, rigid, confining, flamboyant, or decrepit artifacts.
