Anyway, here is the latest! Ross arrived last Saturday and has been here a whole week already. He is finding his way around and exploring the neighborhood. We have been getting around the city by rickshaw mostly.
These pictures are of "The Great Rickshaw Race" that took place yesterday morning in front of the Canadian High Commision. Some of the younger teachers tried thier skills at driving a rickshaw and the spectators were entertained. They attracted quite a crowd of locals who must have been wondering why these crazy expats would want to drive a rickshaw.
After the race, which took place in the morning, we had a great "English breakfast" at the British club .... sausage, bacon, eggs, hash browns ... mmmm!
Tonight we are attending a reception at the Canadian High Commision - not because we are special - just because we are Canadian.
We are looking forward to our vacation in Thailand in two weeks! Hopefully I will be able to post more photos soon!!
