Love Supreme

This weekend I attended the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival in Fredericton and bought this cool painting from a young man on the street. I don't know what his name is. The signature is on the back but I can't make it out! He was playing the accordion and displaying a few paintings. He said that he was a "drifter" and traveled from city to city (he seemed to be about 19 or 20). I liked his work.

This small canvass has three washers glued on and painted over. The colours are bright with some metallic paint used. When we asked him how much he was selling his work for he said "make me an offer" - so we offered him $20.00 and he accepted! I'm not sure where I'm going to put it but I really like it!!
