This weekend we took a walk around our neighborhood to familiarize ourselves with the area. We found that there were lots of places to get the things we need that are not too far away.
There is lots of construction going on around us as you can see by the photo of the brick layer ... that is one heavy load!
Today was Sunday, our first day of the week, and we experienced a "hartell" or a general strike which we hear happens from time to time. Quite a few students were missing today as a result but things should be back to normal tomorrow.
