Our vacation ended with two days in Columbo, which we found to be a nice city - very modern in some places. There were lots of beautiful sights to see but it was so hot that we really didn't have it in us to take many of them in. We did find a favorite "watering hole" however - a place called The Cricket Club .... an original "sports bar" with an obvious emphasis on cricket. One night there was a big table with a whole bunch of young guys enjoying pitchers of beer. They were a team from England on a 10 day "cricket" tour of Sri Lanka.
