Happy May Day! We have a holiday here today - a day off, which is very nice for us. However, there are still many people suffering from the recent tragedy in Savar where a garment factory collapsed killing over 300 people. One of the students at our school spearheaded a drive for support this week and it was well received by our students. parents and staff. Needless to say this event has been prominent in the news here and I think at home in Canada as well.
