New Abstracts

 

As you can see I have taken a different twist with these new abstracts. My inspiration comes from compositions and colours that I see in decorating magazines. In the painting below I was influenced by bouquets of tulips that are so popular these days in home decor photos.

 

My next project is going to be learning how to make my own frames for my canvases. My husband usually makes them for me but I want to be independent! (I am woman hear me roar!) He's going to show me how to use the band saw this afternoon. I've used one before but I need a refresher...... Here's hoping I have all my fingers at the end of the day!
