Cheat Day!

Last night we were in Criaz and today we are in Viana Do Castelo, about a 30 km walk. Pretty good eh! Well actually we only walked about 10 km of it and took a bus the rest of the way. It was raining!
Our "hiking mate", Jill walked on her own a bit further and then took a bus .... what a true pilgrim!
I am extremely annoyed at my Columbia hikers that are supposed to be Gortex lined and waterproof ... they are not!! My feet were soaked! Guess I will have to cover them in duct tape!
Our hotel is very nice and central and we are waiting for Jill and looking forward to a little wine and cheese before we head out for dinner.
Can't wait for tomorrow's walk along the coast!
